Three groups of four cross-breeding cow each, in the 5th month of gestation were infected experimentally with 104, 5 x 104 and 105 sporocysts of Sarcocystis cruzi, respectively, and another four pregnant cows were considered as controls. The levels of IgG and IgN classes of immunoglobulins were checked in the sera of animals weekly and the righ points were obtained at 35 and 74, and from 46 to 68 days post infection respectively. Nosignificant differences were observed in the levels of immunoglobulins when they were compared between groups with different inocula or when they were compared among groups with different clinical signs. Supression was observed in the production of antibodies by mouse spleen cells and in the phagocytosis by mouse peritoneal macrophages when these cells were got together with positive sera to indirect immomoflorecencetest (TIFI) from bovines infected with S. cruzi . Finally, it was observed that bradizoites of S. cruzi were capable to get capping.eng
