| Abstract: | Este trabalho teve como objetivos analisar a instituição Instituto Brasileiro de Desenvolvimento Florestal (IBDF), relativamente: a) ao contexto político e histórico de surgimento; b) à evolução de sua estrutura; c) à contribuição conferida ao setor florestal pela instituição. Foram consultados os dispositivos legais (leis, decretos, e regulamentos) que deram origem e alteraram sua estrutura, além de material adicional obtido em periódicos oficiais e nos sites de instituições atuais. Para avaliação da contribuição ao setor florestal utilizou-se resultados de cinco programas implementados durante sua existência. A conclusão do trabalho foi que o IBDF surgiu em 28 de fevereiro de 1967 e foi extinto em 15 de janeiro de 1989, num contexto político e histórico de fechamento e foi extinto num momento de abertura política. Passou por uma mudança estrutural durante sua existência. Contribui significativamente para o desenvolvimento do setor florestal brasileiro. |
| Abstract: | This work had as objectives to analyze the IBDF – Instituto Brasileiro de Desenvolvimento Florestal, relatively: a) to the historical context of appearance and creation; b) to the evolution of its structures; c) to the contribution to Brazilian forest sector. The legal devices were consulted (laws, ordinances, and regulations), that created de IBDF and change its structure during its existence, and other material published on officials periodic and in site of actual institutions. To evaluate the contribution to forest sector were used the results of five forest programs launched during its existence. The conclusion of this work is that the IBDF has arised in February 28th, in the year of 1967 and was extinct in January 15th , in the year of 1989, in a political and historical context of closure and was extincted in moment of political opening. Its structure has changed once during its existence. It has contributed significantly for the brasilian forest sector. |
