dc.description.abstract	Este trabalho objetiva: fazer um levantamento das comunidades florestais presente no site de relacionamento Orkut, verificar os cursos de Engenharia Florestal nelas representados, analisar o perfil dos seus membros com base na distribuição por faixa etária e nível de escolaridade, e também analisar os tópicos de discussão com maior número de postagem nas duas maiores comunidades. O levantamento foi realizado procedendose a uma busca para “engenharia florestal” no site de relacionamento Orkut e dos cursos de engenharia florestal no site da Sociedade Brasileira de Engenheiros Florestais (SBEF). Utilizou-se adicionalmente o autofiltro do Orkut para a pesquisa dos usuários por faixa etária e nível de escolaridade. Pesquisou-se complementarmente, os três tópicos com maior número de postagens das duas maiores comunidades florestais encontradas. Os principais resultados foram: existem 67 comunidades florestais no Orkut, que variam de 2 a 3695 membros; 87% dos participantes das comunidades têm menos de 30 anos de idade e 63% entre 18 e 23 anos, resultado que se reflete no nível de escolaridade dos mesmos (66% com nível superior incompleto).	pt_BR

dc.description.abstractOther	This work aims at: to do a rising of the communities forest present in the relationship site Orkut, and to verify the courses of Forest Engineering in them represented; to analyze the profile of their members with base in the distribution for age group and education level, and also to analyze the two larger communities' more relevant discussion topics. The rising was accomplished being proceeded to a search for "forest engineering" in the site of relationship Orkut and of the courses of forest engineering in the site of the Brazilian Society of Forest Engineers (SBEF). It was used the solemnityfilter of Orkut additionally for the users' research for age group and education level. It was also researched, the two larger found forest communities' three visited topics. The main results were: 67 forest communities exist in Orkut, that vary from 2 to 3695 members; 87% of the communities' participants less than 30 years old and 63% among 18 and 23 years of age, result that it is reflected in the level of education of the same ones (66% with incomplete higher education level).	pt_BR
