| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho teve como objetivos: resgatar o histórico de criação dos Parques Nacionais (PARNAS) do Brasil e a base legal que fundamenta esta categoria, e analisar a sua distribuição regionalmente e por bioma. Os dados foram levantados no site do Ibama e do Planalto e tabelados. A base legal foi pesquisada nos Códigos Florestais (1934 e 1965), lei do SNUC e respectivo regulamento. Agrupou-se as áreas dos PARNAS e procedeu-se a uma análise da distribuição relativa destas por região e por bioma. Conclui-se que a base legal dessa categoria de unidade de conservação surgiu no Código Florestal de 1934, foi explicitada no Novo Código Florestal de 1965 e consagrada na Lei do SUNC; a região Norte detém 81,6% da área total de PARNAS e tem 5,7% da sua superfície protegida por esse tipo de unidade; o Brasil tem 62 PARNAS, que somam 27,2 milhões ha, dos quais 72% localizam-se no bioma Amazônia. | pt_BR |

| dc.description.abstractOther | This work had as objective: to rescue the description of creation of the National Parks (PARNAS) of Brazil and the legal base that this category bases, and to regionally analyze its distribution and for bioma. The data had been raised in the site of the Ibama and Planalto. The legal base was searched in the Forest Codes (1934 and 1965), law of the SNUC and respective regulation. One grouped the areas of the PARNAS and proceeded it an analysis from the relative distribution of these for region and bioma. It is concluded that the legal base of this category of unit of conservation appeared in the Forest Code of 1934, was clarifyde in the New Forest of 1965 and consecrated Code in the Law of the SNUC; the region North withholds 81.6% of the total area of PARNAS and has 5.7% of its surface protected for this type of unit; Brazil has 62 PARNAS, that they add 27,2 million ha, 72% of this area has situated in the bioma Amazonia. | pt_BR |
